Soundtrap is a collaborative, browser and cloud-based recording studio. As of November 2017, we are a part of the Spotify family. Our mission is to enable music and podcast creation for everyone, no matter where in the world you are or what device you are using. You have a passion for music production with experience in marketing communication for a creator product.
What you will do:
- Plan and build content (including copywriting) for landing pages e.g. new features and products to achieve business goals
- Ability to conceptualize, implement, analyze and scale experiments on soundtrap.com in collaboration with Product, Design and Marketing teams
- Track and analyze the performance of this channel, with the ultimate goal of improving our brand awareness and driving traffic to soundtrap.com
- Build a content calendar and strategy to increase the discoverability of Soundtrap, while protecting the integrity of the customer experience
- Actively stay on top of new products, features and trends and propose strategies for optimizing and improving Soundtrap’s marketing landing pages
- Responsible for representing this channel in cross-functional projects that serve key parts of the business
Who you are:
- You are experienced in using a Content Management System or web publishing tools for updating landing pages
- You have experience in content marketing for a music production company with strong written communication skills in English
- Solid understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and build this channel from the ground up, as this is a completely new role within the company
- You have excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- You love music and podcasts and have your pulse on the trends in the music and audio industry
