The Opportunity

IT Officer is responsible for a proper functioning and use of the information and communication technology (ICT) systems (server, computers, Photo Copiers, Scanners, Surveillance System, Access Door, PDA, barcode readers and their respective exploitation systems and generic software) by setting up these systems, as well as preventing and rapidly responding to potential ICT problems, in an adequate, timely and supportive manner. She/he also has to provide quality support to SCI field teams that are using these ICT systems

In order to be succesfull you will bring/have:

Essential

  • Bachelor degree in computers and /or electronics. MCP/MCITP certification is an asset.
  • Work Experience: Professional background in IT management
  • Strong Infrastructure, server administration and maintenance skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in networking
  • Knowledge of PDA and Barcode Technology is an asset
  • Solid numerical and computer skills are required (especially MS Office Package)
  • Analytical and organizational skills, capacity building skills, communication skills
  • Working level of English and Turkish communication is required.

Position holders will be based in Hatay and Gaziantep, therefore legal right to work in Turkey is necessary at the time of application.
