Fundraising Trainer

Philantropia specializes in training, advising, and supporting the UN, (I)NGOs, civil society organizations, and social enterprises on international fundraising. We offer a wide range of tools and training courses to help partners fundraise better. Since 2008, thousands of development professionals have increased their knowledge and understanding of fundraising with the help of Philantropia’s Fundraising Institute.

We are seeking dynamic and experienced trainers to join our trainer roster. As an expert, you will develop and conduct short online courses and seminars aimed at building the capacity of professionals in the development sector. Our training topics include but are not limited to resource mobilization, capacity development, partner identification, donor research, project development & management, M&E, and communications/branding.

Our trainers work with a highly motivated team of experts based in Asia, Europe, and the US. Our typical contracted trainer develops several training sessions each year. Training consists of both self-directed video-based training and live webinars/expert sessions.

Key Tasks

• Develop and record engaging training videos
• Develop and present virtual webinars
• Provide practical insights, best practices, and real-world examples
• Foster an interactive and collaborative learning environment during sessions
• Customize training content to meet the specific needs and experience levels of our diverse global audience
• Update existing courses when requested

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree preferred
• Substantial experience in the development sector
• Proven experience in conducting live workshops or online training
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• (Near) native English presentation skills
• Proficiency in other UN languages is a plus
