A global electronics manufacturer is looking for a Senior Purchasing Specialist. The chosen applicant will be overseeing purchasing operations and serving as a bridge for various functions. This position is based in Seoul.
Responsibilities
- Maintain business relationships with suppliers
- Ensure adherence to purchasing strategies with guidelines
- Evaluate suppliers’ capacity to meet costs, deadlines, and quality standards
- Handle negotiation of contracts
- Conduct daily performance and issue monitoring
- Send POs to the vendors and monitor until delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in business
- 5-10 years of experience in industrial or production purchasing
- Demonstrable experience in major consumer electronics or the mobile phone sector
- Prior engineering background
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and ERP (SAP is preferred)
- Fluent level English (Chinese or French is advantageous)
