Program Support
Providing program support to voter engagement efforts in the Community Initiatives Department by:
- Meeting with Community Initiatives Program Manager and Community Advocacy Program Coordinator on a weekly basis to assist in planning events and executing tasks;
- Assist in voter engagement efforts by supporting the following:
- Phone and text banking efforts,
- Canvassing events,
- National Night Out (NNO) events
- Coordinating and Executing Candidate Forum
- Social media posts related to voter engagement; and
- Poll activities,community meetings, and mobilizing initiatives
Training
Attend trainings and/or pertinent meetings that address voter engagement and/or with what the funder requires.
Partnership and Community Development
Identifying partnerships and cultivating relationships, including 1:1 meetings, attend and promote partner events:
- Community Members
- Civic Organizations
- Community Based Organizations
- Government
- Institutions
Administrative Duties
- Timesheet Verification
- Expense Reports
- Calendar Management
- Upload data
- Weekly Team Meeting and Monthly Avenue Meetings
Special Assignments/Projects
- Collaborate as needed with team members to assist on CI programs
- Participation, attendance and support of significant events and efforts for Avenue and or CI team
- Special projects as assigned
