A Day in the Life

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor in Korea, the Customer Service Specialist will handle the end-to-end cycle of the order management processes within the supply chain business of Medtronic Korea. You will be the customers’ primary contact in answering queries and complaints, processing orders and billing, consignment, delivery, etc. You are expected to maintain strong collaboration with the business unit and other Supply Chain Management teams on follow-ups and requests. This opportunity offers a fixed-term contract role with a possible extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain highly customer-focused quality services
  • Frequent verbal and written communication with customers on updating them with product information and other required
  • Handle daily order fulfillment, consignment inventory customer backorder review, delivery scheduling & billing and invoicing, reporting on sales results
  • Manage the PO pending status on regular basis not to keep unbilled revenue for a long time
  • Perform any ad hoc projects as assigned by the Manager
  • Prepare and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and lead process improvement efforts
  • Manage inventories and allocate stock in short supply to maximize service levels
  • Represent the company to external and internal customers, answer customers’ questions, trace lost shipments, interprets and clarify customer orders for the ship-out, and when necessary, may connect customers to appropriate support of field staff

Must Have

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree qualifications
  • 2-5 years of customer service/order management and SAP/ERP experience in any industry
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written in English and Korean languages
  • Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer (internal and external) relationships
  • Experience in cross-functional projects and process improvements

Nice to Have

  • Medical devices or any related healthcare industry experience
  • Experience in SAP Order Delivery Module (ORM)
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
