Job Overview
This position is for a short-term project. The Data Collectors will attend trainings, collect, and upload data related to the exercise via the selected data collection tools.
Responsibilities
- Administer and collate qualitative data via the approved data collection tools.
- Timely and meaningfully support information flow from the field to the State Research Lead.
- Adhere to all data collection protocols during data collection activities.
- Attend and participate in project related trainings and workshops.
- Available for the entire duration of the project activities and willing to travel to select LGAs as required.
- Maintain cordial public relations with local stakeholders including government officials, facility staff, clients, and community members through observing meaningful and respectful engagement during fieldwork.
- Must score 80% or higher in post-training assessment, to participate in fieldwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of B.Sc. from Biological Science or Social Science background from a recognized university. University post-graduate students are at advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years work experience.
- Familiarity with the selected work location.
- Fluent in the local language.
- Previous experience in carrying out qualitative data collection with relevant experience with electronic and mobile data capturing tools (ODK, KoboCollect, CSPro, Survey CTO).
- Attend full training for Data Collectors and pass post-training assessment.
- Individuals must score 80% or higher in the post-test to participate in fieldwork.
- Available for the entire duration of the project activities and willing to travel to select LGAs as required.
- Ability to comply with the estimated project timelines.
