Purpose and Character of the Role
The Director of Global Membership is the first, most important point of contact between Middle States and prospective members, guiding schools through the experience of joining the Middle States community. In addition, the Director of Global Membership works closely with the President on growth initiatives.
This role is for someone who wants to help guide wise change in schools. It is also for someone with a strong desire for personal and professional growth. This role is not for someone who wants to work in a bureaucracy.
This Director of Global Membership reports directly to the President & CEO of Middle States and is a member of the Leadership Team and the Marketing Team.
General Duties
Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and enroll new members.
- Track and make sense of membership data and trends.
- Collaborate with the President on growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to design and execute the vision for Middle States.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to design and execute programs to grow and enhance membership.
- Other duties as assigned. Be prepared for the unpredictable.

Salary and Flexibility
$65-80k salary and a strong company-approved benefits package, including 6 weeks of annual vacation (in addition to other office holidays).
This position can be mostly remote, with some time spent traveling. In addition, this position requires travel to Philadelphia about 8-10 times a year, some of which are multi-day visits.
