National Cryptologic Foundation

The National Cryptologic Foundation seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Education Program Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be key in coordinating and managing educational programs to engage students, educators, and the general public in cryptologic and cybersecurity education. The Education Program Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Education, Program Manager, and other team members to develop, implement, and evaluate educational initiatives that align with the foundation’s mission and goals.

This is a hybrid contractual position (120 hours per month) that requires in-office presence on Wednesdays and occasional travel to attend educational conferences and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Coordination:
    • Assist in the planning, developing, and implementing educational programs, including workshops and seminars.
    • Coordinate logistics for educational events, including scheduling, communication with participants, and managing materials and resources.
    • Monitor and track program progress, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for educators, students,and partners involved in NCF programs.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, universities, and other educational institutions to promote NCF programs and resources.
    • Attend educational conferences to engage educators and promote the resources offered by NCF.
  • Content Development:
    • Assist in the creation and refinement of educational content, Outsmart Cyberthreats Booklet updates, and teacher prep for the Ambassador program
    • Ensure all educational content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with current educational standards and best practices.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support for education programs, including sending booklets to schools, libraries, etc.
    • Assist with grant writing and fundraising efforts to support educational initiatives alongside the grant writer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in education program coordination or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with K -12 educators and understanding current educational trends and standards.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with online learning platforms.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and events.
  • Passion for cryptology, cybersecurity, and/or STEM education is a plus.
