Takaful Al Sham (TAS) has been responding to the Syrian crisis since 2012 and to the Refugee Response in Turkiye since 2013. TAS works in Education, Early Recovery, Food Security, Livelihood & Empowerment, WASH, Protection, Shelter, CCCM, and Emergency Response, where TAS has implemented successfully more than 130 projects in Direct partnership with Institutional donors, UN Agencies, and INGOs such as; BHA, SCHF, UNICEF, WFP, UNDP, IOM, CARE, GOAL, Save the Children, Global Communities, World Vision, DRC, WHH, Archenova, Chemonics. Job summary:
The Facilitator will be responsible for conducting engaging and informative training sessions on Leadership, Communication, and Life Skills. The role involves empowering participants with essential skills to enhance their personal development, communication abilities, and leadership qualities. The Facilitator will create a supportive learning environment and guide participants in building vital life skills.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the project officer to design a structured curriculum for Leadership, Communication, and Life Skills training.
· Develop session plans, materials, and activities aligned with program objectives and participant needs.
· Facilitate interactive and participatory training sessions on leadership, effective communication, time management, and other relevant life skills.
· Utilize a variety of teaching techniques, including role-playing, group discussions, case studies, and multimedia presentations.
· Help participants identify their strengths and areas for growth, guiding them to develop and enhance their leadership and communication capabilities.
· Provide insights and guidance to improve time management, goal setting, and decision-making skills.
· Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere where participants feel comfortable to share their thoughts, experiences, and challenges.
· Address participants’ questions and concerns, encouraging open communication and active engagement.
· Assess participants’ progress and understanding through continuous evaluation during the training program.
· Offer constructive feedback to individuals to assist in their skill development and personal growth.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience of at least two years in facilitating training sessions on leadership, communication, and life skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology, education, leadership studies, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of leadership theories, effective communication techniques, and principles of personal development.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
• Adequate access to global evidence in the field of psychosocial support and life skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• A very good level of presentation, presentation, effective communication (oral and written) and speaking with confidence.
• Proficiency in English and familiarity with relevant computer applications.
• Familiar with the principles of humanitarian action and the principles of protection.
