Job Overview:
Join our innovative team as the Head of Local Marketing for one of our Regions. In this role, you’ll need to be highly organised and accountable as you lead and coordinate a sizable team in an exciting sector of the gaming industry. You’ll play a key role in creating and implementing new processes from scratch and will support Local Marketing Managers in developing and executing their marketing strategies. Additionally, you’ll assist the Commercial Marketing Director in evaluating the performance of Local Marketing Managers.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead and Coordinate Team: Manage and oversee a large and culturally diverse team, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination within a dynamic gaming industry environment.
- Develop and Implement Processes: Establish and implement new processes and systems from the ground up to enhance local marketing operations.
- Support Local Marketing Managers: Assist Local Marketing Managers in creating, developing, and executing their marketing plans and strategies.
- Evaluate Performance: Collaborate with the Commercial Marketing Director to assess and measure the performance of Local Marketing Managers.
- Coaching and Development: Identify skill gaps in Local Marketing Managers and work on developing those skills.
- Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate the sharing of insights and marketing strategies between markets to maximize marketing effectiveness across the region.
- Budget Management: Support Local Marketing Managers in developing and presenting marketing budgets.
- Analysis: Introduce and cultivate a culture of analysis, where initiatives are systematically evaluated, learnings are applied, and optimisations are made for continuous improvement.
- Drive Innovation: Introduce and integrate innovative marketing approaches and strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
What Will Make You The Perfect Candidate
- Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to effectively lead, motivate, and manage a large team, fostering collaboration and coordination.
- Market Dynamics: Proficiency in navigating and managing diverse markets with varying regulations and dynamics.
- Organisational Skills: Expertise in establishing and implementing new processes and systems to enhance local marketing operations.
- Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Strong skills in developing strategic marketing plans, analysing performance metrics, and driving data-informed decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with team members both in person and remotely, stakeholders, and across multiple markets.
- Coaching and Development: Ability to identify skill gaps and provide targeted coaching and development for team members.
- Innovation and Adaptability: Strong aptitude for introducing and integrating innovative marketing approaches and strategies, with the flexibility to adapt to a rapidly evolving industry.
- Language: Excellent spoken and written English is essential. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
