ONSUR works through the main office in Gaziantep province Turkey and execution offices in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Turkey.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Assistant is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions and participating in several administrative topics of the whole employee cycle. Along with the supervisors, the HR Assistant is responsible for delivering efficient administrative support to the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support the implementation of HR policy and procedures;
  2. Support recruitment processes;
  3. Facilitate the induction/orientation process for all new employees;
  4. Prepare templates and follow-up staff timesheets for each month and ensure timely submission;
  5. Prepare, organize, compile and update personnel files and records in hard and soft copy;
  6. Ensure that database is updated regularly;
  7. Draft or prepare correspondence to respond to inquiries with respect to relevant administrative activities;
  8. Ensure that all HR-related trackers are updated;
  9. Support the onboarding and exit processes;
  10. Support learning and development activities;
  11. Help with facilitating training sessions and seminars;
  12. Perform other job-related tasks as requested by the Supervisor.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources, business administration, social science or relevant field.
  • 2 years of experience within HR/recruitment/talent acquisition and/or administration is desirable.
  • Fluency in English, plus Turkish language skills
  • Impeccable communication skills.
  • Good Computer skills working with MS Office Packages especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in database management and record keeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to motivate others
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to build good relations both internally and externally
