For our new office in Dubai, we are looking for
HR Generalist – 100% (m/f) with experience in the middle East.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7-8 years of experience as an HR Generalist with hands-on experience in various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, visa and labor processes, employee requests, employee engagement activities, and performance reviews. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to HR management.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process, including screening CVs, scheduling interviews
- Conduct thorough onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for employees.
- Provide timely support on various HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, and employee relations issues.
- Promote and implement HR initiatives and policies to foster an efficient and positive work environment.
- Assist in managing visa applications, renewals, and labour processes in compliance with local laws.
- Handle day-to-day employee requests and inquiries, such as issuing employment letters and processing HR-related documents.
- Organize and maintain the HR calendar for employee engagement activities, ensuring a vibrant work culture.
- Manage employee information through the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring all data is up-to-date and secure.
- Coordinate and assist in the performance review process, ensuring it aligns with company objectives and compliance standards.
- Ensure compliance with local labour legislation and maintain confidential HR records as per corporate and legal standards.
- Coordinate essential administrative tasks including visa processing, document legalization, and medical insurance management.
- Manage all employee leave records and handle clearance and handover activities for leaves and terminations.
- Create and maintain personal and electronic files for employees, manage ERP profiles, and update salary and position changes.
- Update and maintain the training matrix. Organize and support training initiatives, enhancing employee skills and promoting career development
- Handle direct interactions with employees to resolve concerns and enhance job satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years experience in similar role with 5 years experience in UAE.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., CIPD, SHRM).
- Experience in the engineering or construction sector is a plus.
