The marketing and sales function within Siemens-Energy aero gas turbines is challenged with both the current and future of the enterprise, within this multi-faceted function are opportunities to understand commercialisation, sales development, customer intimacy programs and solution development oversight. The team is truly globally dispersed and working through both local and regional entities, across time and cultural boundaries will become a natural part of the day and your skill set.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Working within the Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) Sales Team, you will assist the department with delivering the Sales Order intake.

  • You’ll assist the team which is responsible for the global selling of the product, both technically and commercially via the Siemens-Energy Regional Entities and direct to the Siemens Energy end user customers.
  • Support the commercialisation of new products and services by creating business cases and defining sales strategies.
  • Work within a team environment and support in the development of our tools and processes needed to sell efficiently and effectively.
  • Drive forward improvement activity, whilst collaborating with other departments and internal stakeholders.
  • Challenge the existing way of working with a view to improving customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

  • Undergraduate with a 2.2 or above in a Business, Sales or other relevant degree (or a demonstrable interest and knowledge of the marketing and sales function if your degree is in a non-related field)
  • Sound understanding of Sales and Commercial Business Principles and practices.
  • Self-driven individual that consistently takes ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Effectively work as part of a diverse, multi-disciplined team.
  • Have an eye for detail and apply analytical skills to decision making and problem solving.
  • Can understand and effectively communicate complex information, proficient in writing and IT skills including use of Excel and PowerPoint
