National Project Monitoring Officer

**Position Title: National Project Monitoring Officer (VN 075/2022) Duty station: Manila (Global) Administrative Centre (MAC) Job classification: National Officer / NO-A Type of Appointment: Fixed term, One year with possibility of extension Salary: Php 1,195,132 .00 per annum net of taxes

CONTEXT:** The Project Monitoring Officer will be under the general guidance of the Senior Resources Management Officer and under the direct functional and administrative supervision of the Head, Project Monitoring Unit for various global programs under the unit.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE EDUCATION

• University degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience in the field of accounting, finance, budgeting and management reporting
• Professional certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or its equivalent

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum five years of experience in administrative and financial management, budget monitoring, cash management, internal control procedures, and management reporting.
• Experience in the usage of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and data analysis.
• Experience supervising the development and implementation of administrative control procedures.
• Knowledge of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and audit review procedures.
• Knowledge of accounting systems.
• Knowledge of database management systems.
• Web Navigation Skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to interpret source information and data; capable of designing, reviewing, revising business processes, and provide. recommendations to achieve efficiency.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Can effectively communicate, provide guidance to staff, and provide global support functions.
• Exposure to international workplace setting.
