Save the Children - US
Background/Context:
The Healthy Newborn Network (HNN), an established global leader in newborn health, contains a rich resource library, housing almost three and a half thousand resources on newborn and maternal health. As HNN looks to expand to include additional issue areas, the resource library requires a comprehensive review to ensure resources are up to date, relevant, and useful for the current audience.
The consultant will support the development of an archival process, including an initial review of the resource library and the finalization of an archival matrix, and will conduct the first archival round, determining which resources can be archived or deleted. If the consultant completes these activities with additional time on their level of effort (LOE), or if additional archiving is necessary, they will conduct a second archival round following a review by the Technical Point of Contact. The Contractual Point of Contact will determine if this additional activity will be undertaken, as well as if additional LOE is needed to complete the deliverables.
Description of Services:
The Consultant will perform the following activities:
- Conduct an initial review of the resource library and confirm expected LOE.
- In collaboration with the Contractual Point of Contact and Technical Point of Contract, finalize an archival matrix with criteria to inform archival decisions. This will include designating all resources to be maintained/archived/deleted, based on the criteria outlined in the archival matrix.
- Conduct first archival round of all resources using finalized archival matrix, determining which resources should be archived or deleted and recording in the finalized Excel database.
- Share archival Excel database with Contractual and Technical Points of Contact, for internal review.
Deliverables and Deadlines:
- Finalized archival matrix – Within first week of contract (February 7, 2023)
- Conduct initial archival round – February – March 2023
- Record archival decisions in Excel database for review by Technical Point of Contact – March 31, 2023
