DBS Emirates Hills Curriculum

Our curriculum is modelled on the National Curriculum for England and adapted to our own international context, leading to a challenging set of GCSE, BTEC and GCE A Level courses from Year 10 to Year 13. We feel the opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are just as important as the main curriculum and we offer an extensive and varied Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) programme.

Recruiting – PA to Head of School

At DBSEH, we are looking to appoint enthusiastic, and results driven PA to Head of School. The individual will work closely with the Executive Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to both Senior Leaders and the staff body to ensure the smooth running of the school. Present a positive and professional impression to parents, guests and staff. Assist with all queries knowledgeably, efficiently and courteously.

The Personal Assistant (PA) to the Head of School plays a crucial role in supporting the Head of Schools by providing comprehensive administrative and organizational assistance. This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and excellent communication skills, as the PA will serve as a primary point of contact between the Head of School and internal and external stakeholders. This is a busy and varied role involving daily communication with academic staff, pupils and visiting families. The post-holder needs to work well under pressure, to have excellent organizational skills, to demonstrate good use of initiative and to have the ability to multi-task and prioritize. The PA will be responsible for managing the Head of School’s schedule, coordinating meetings and events, preparing correspondence and reports, and handling confidential information with the utmost care. The role also involves anticipating the needs of the Head of School, ensuring efficient workflow, and supporting various school initiatives.

Professional Requirements

Education: Hold a relevant degree appropriate to the post.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years working in a similar field.
