Part-Time Sound Engineer

Job Description:

The Bridge Church is seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Sound Engineer to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality audio production during our services and events. The ideal candidate will have experience in live sound engineering, a passion for music, and a commitment to creating an uplifting worship experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain sound equipment for services and events.
• Mix live audio during services and rehearsals, ensuring optimal sound quality.
• Collaborate with musicians and worship leaders to achieve the desired sound.
• Maintain and troubleshoot audio equipment as needed.
• Attend rehearsals on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and be available all day on Sundays.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a sound engineer or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with audio mixing consoles and sound equipment.
• Knowledge of sound engineering principles and techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is competitive and will range from $25 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills.
