**Position Title: Pension Administration Assistant (VN 072/2022) Duty station: Manila (Global) Administrative Centre (MAC) Job classification: General Staff/ G-4 Type of Appointment: Fixed term, One year with possibility of extension Salary: Php 540,912.00 per annum net of taxes

CONTEXT:** Under the general supervision of the Head, IOM Pension Administration, in coordination and direct supervision of the Senior Pension Administrator the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE EDUCATION

  • University degree in the field of Administration, Human Resources or its equivalent relevant field or a related field from an accredited academic institution, with two years of relevant professional experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant HR/administrative or finance experience in the application of social security schemes with respect to pensions, benefits and entitlements in a government or an international organization, preferably in a UN environment participating in the UNJSPF
  • Experienced in data verification, rules interpretation and implementation.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, have keen eye for details.
  • Experience in SAP/Oracle an advantage.
  • Familiarity with UN Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) or similar pension system, an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of basic finance/accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office environment, including extensive use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and comfort with learning new software and project reporting tools.
