Key Accountabilities:

  • Evaluate purchase orders (back, current, and upcoming) to plan, schedule, and prioritize production operations.
  • Create and manage the master production plan to establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet production deadlines.
  • Utilize analytical and mathematical calculations to estimate the manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
  • Plan and prioritize resources to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
  • Regularly monitor critical inventory levels to identify and act on shortages or bottlenecks of supplies to prevent delays.
  • Modify or adjust the production schedule based on engineering changes and material shortages.
  • Monitor the execution of the production plan to ensure orders are fulfilled within budget, timeline, and meet customer demands.
  • Investigate production problems, analyze root causes, and provide solutions to improve processes.
  • Utilize and leverage the SAP planning system to maintain an accurate database of inventory and process flow.
  • Collaborate with all teams to expedite the flow of materials and documents to meet production schedules.
  • Prepare and provide regular production status updates to key stakeholders and suggest ways to improve efficiency.

Experience & Education Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in production planning and scheduling of multiple projects.
  • Minimum requirement of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of related supply chain business experience, including production planning in a similar industry.
  • Preferred certification in CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), APICS, CPIM, or CSCP.
