You will be the key contact between Paris Store Planning Team & the UAE team while working closely with the retail team, the local contractors and the mall representatives.
Your main responsibilities are:
Lead the local Store Planning team & guide them to achieve their respective goals of Maintenance & Renovations across the region.
Maintenance & Post Opening projects:
Manage with your team the maintenance and post opening projects within the markets. Follow Chanel standards in terms of boutique maintenance, ensuring high quality of work, reactivity and cost control.
- Regularly visit the boutique to identify the maintenance needs and plan the maintenance projects while complying with the health and safety, the Mall and the local regulations.
- Design BOH extensions, refurbishments and work on minor renovations works within the retail area
- Work closely with the Paris Boutique Architecture Area Manager in defining budget and time schedule for the execution of the maintenance works and in complying with the brand design specifications.
- Ensure the supervision of the works and follow-up on the different maintenance / renovation phases:
- Request quotations from the suppliers and challenge them
- Assign suppliers to complete the boutique’s maintenance and minor renovation works.
- Handle the follow up on the boutique’s maintenance and update the team on the work progress
- Identify new potential contractors and implement yearly contracts in line with the budget allocation
- Plan the yearly maintenance budget & LE(s) of the boutiques and follow up on it closely with the finance team
- Guide your team to achieve their respective goals of Maintenance & Renovations across the region.
New Projects:
Support the Paris Boutique Architecture Area Manager in providing all the required information related to the new project
and provide local supervision.
- Liaise between the mall and Paris team on the space allocation / negotiation / LOD request …
- Prepare the project brief (market need, drawings, constraints, competitor space analysis…)
- Site follow up and coordination with the local GC and consultants and make report to the Paris Team.
- Coordinate the different local teams prior and during the boutique opening (IT, Legal, Security dept., VM, Window Decor,
wholesale teams …)
You need to have a university degree with a 10-12 years of experience as an Architect or Interior Designer within the luxury
retail enviromnement with team leading skills
You have a strong project management background with good technical abilities, a good send of business to follow the
budgets and knowledgeable in sustainability.
You have a flexible and pro-active approach to work including ability to prioritize and a strong interpersonal and
communication skills including the ability to ensure effective communication with a wide range of contact both internal
and external will be a real asset to succeed in this position.
English & Arabic are a must – French is an asset
You will be based in Dubai with the ability to frequently travel around UAE & GCC.
