Overview:

To manage Core 42’s IT assets and consumables by controlling supply and demand, optimizing the IT

infrastructure, and acting as the single point of contact for the procurement and delivery of the same.

Responsibilities:

Day to Day Operations

  • Develop and implement comprehensive IT asset management policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and warranties.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and integrity of asset data.
  • Monitor asset utilization and recommend strategies for optimizing resource allocation.
  • Coordinate procurement and disposal activities for IT assets, adhering to budgetary constraints and

compliance requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and maintain an up-to-date inventory of

software licenses.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess IT asset requirements.
  • Implement and maintain IT asset tracking tools and systems to enhance visibility and control.
  • Analyze asset lifecycle costs and recommend strategies for cost optimization and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with IT security team to ensure proper security controls are in place for IT assets.
  • Evaluate industry innovations, trends, changes, plans and recommends new technologies related to IT assets management.
  • Adapt best practice processes of staff onboarding/discharge and disposal of assets.
  • Manage asset end-of-life and run disposal process for IT when required.
  • Manage assets distribution/shifting in accordance with HR and FM.
  • Ensure all asset record information is validated and maintained to ensure on-going data integrity.
  • Gather and validate IT asset data attributes to enable modification/registration of the asset.
  • Resolve discrepancies relating to items received in a timely manner.
  • Perform investigations associated with missing items from delivery.
  • Direct and control store activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for

storing and distributing assets.

  • Plan and schedule the inventory to meet the organization’s needs by overseeing the ordering of

products, and assist in coordinating delivery schedules with shippers and customers.

  • Ensure that incoming material is inspected for conformity with order specifications and checked for

defects.

  • Develop and recommend improvements practices to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower

costs.

  • Coordinate with VRM to track software licenses, reviewing and managing IT resource volumes and

purchase agreements twice in each fiscal year.

  • Manage and maintain asset operations through Service now Asset management

People Development

  • Track individual KPIs to ensure optimum output and delivery efficacy

Continuous Improvement

  • Motivate one’s team and identify opportunities to take part in change initiatives, programs & projects

that reflect international best practices and changes in the competitive environment.

Policies, Processes & Procedures

  • Recommend improvements and contribute to the implementation of procedures & controls so that all

relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering the highest quality of service to customers.

MIS & Reports

  • Prepare MIS statements and reports to meet the department’s and Core42’s requirements, policies and

standards.

Related Assignments

  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or related

Minimum Experience:

  • 3-6 years of experience in the IT infrastructure or supply chain field
  • Strong understanding of IT Services best practices
  • Proven experience in IT asset management or related roles

Job Specific Skills:

  • Good vendor management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software and networks.
  • High standards of accuracy, quality and attention to detail
  • A helpful, discreet and mature approach to work
