Fantastic opportunity for a senior level transport management professional to join a Dubai based organisation offering a diverse range of road passenger transport solutions across the United Arab Emirates.
This is the ideal position for a senior leadership professional, from either the public service vehicle (PSV) sector or the goods vehicle sector, who has managed a fleet in excess of 3,500 vehicles and can bring to the table technical knowledge along with a strong understanding of industry regulations and best-in-class international safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic direction of the business while examining any proposed changes to assess their impact on passengers.
- Ensure the operation meets Quality, Performance and Safety targets while identifying cost efficiencies.
- Sustain a strong customer-centric focus – improving processes and efficiencies to exceed client’s expectations.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Relentlessly engage and develop a large team.
Key Skills / Experience
- Naturally people-focused with experience of fostering a culture of engagement, development and accountability.
- Proven career progression along with experience in a senior role in the Transport industry.
- Business start-up experience would be advantageous.
- Exceptional data analysis and strategic decision making experience.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best in class international safety standards
- Degree in a relevant field such as Transport and Logistics
