Our team of professionals operates in some of the most challenging environments to provide support services to a variety of governmental agencies globally.

The Challenge

Exp Federal has a substantial amount of work in the Republic of Korea. We foresee the need for a full time Senior Project Architect/Project Manager in Pyeongtaek, South Korea.

Principle Areas Of Responsibility

  • Develops design concepts through construction documents.
  • Responsible for preparation of project drawings
  • Coordinates with other engineering disciplines.
  • Meets independently with vendors to review specific products to be incorporated into the documents.
  • Performs code reviews and meets independently with local code officials to review and determine specific local code requirements and project compliance.
  • Reviews contractor requests during bid phase and develops and coordinates the distribution of addenda to the Contractors.
  • Conducts field visits during construction phase to monitor and review the progress of the construction and completes field reports.
  • Perform business development activities which include identifying opportunities for new contracts. forming relationships with exceptional partner companies, and other related actions. Engage diverse groups of clients, project stakeholders, and team members
  • Supervise office staff and develop local procedures, consistent with corporate policies and procedures, to run office and execute projects with high quality.
  • Provide top level oversight of project deliverables to ensure high quality and timely completion, within budget.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited University;
  • First Class Architectural License;
  • Ability to fluently speak and write both Korean and English
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Track record of exceptional performance;
  • Experience in a variety of project market sectors, Experience with facilities for clients in the Federal Government sector is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Ability to utilize MS Office software
  • Ability to travel throughout Korea on a regular basis
