Job Description
The Quantitative Researcher will play a critical role in developing and implementing cutting-edge quantitative models and strategies to optimize trading performance in the digital assets market. This position involves working closely with portfolio managers, traders, and developers to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and implement sophisticated quantitative models and strategies for trading digital assets.
– Conduct rigorous data analysis and research to identify market inefficiencies and opportunities
– Utilize advanced statistical, machine learning, and computational techniques to analyze large datasets.
– Backtest and validate models to ensure robustness and reliability.
– Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to integrate models into trading systems.- Monitor and optimize the performance of quantitative strategies in real-time.
– Stay abreast of the latest developments in digital assets, financial markets, and quantitative research methodologies
– Present research findings and model performance to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
– Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– Proven experience in quantitative research, ideally within the financial services or hedge fund industry.
– Strong programming skills in Python, R, C++, or other relevant languages.
– Deep understanding of statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and data analysis.
– Experience with quantitative trading and backtesting frameworks.
– Knowledge of digital assets and cryptocurrency markets is highly desirable.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
– Experience with blockchain technology and smart contracts.
– Familiarity with high-frequency trading (HFT) and algorithmic trading strategies.
– Proficiency in handling large datasets and distributed computing.
