Job Overview

As a global leader in education, we’re on a mission to redefine the future of learning, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Executive to join our marketing team and to orchestrate the digital storytelling of our schools in the UAE.
Based in Dubai, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the social media presence of seven schools in the UAE, amplifying the unique selling propositions (USPs) of each school, whilst weaving their values, successes, and community spirit into compelling digital narratives that resonate with families and stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Social Media Executive will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand visibility, fostering community engagement, and driving lead generation.
What you’ll do
- Community Management: Drive community engagement by responding to inquiries on key educational platforms, and groups, guiding parents through the value proposition of our schools, and connecting them with Parent Experience Managers in each school.
- Content Planning and Approval: Develop comprehensive content plans aligned with the overall marketing strategy, ensuring all content is on-brand, engaging, and tailored to the target audience. Obtain approval from the Brand Manager and Head of Marketing before publishing.
- Content Creation: Liaise with photographers, videographers, and in-house designers to produce high-quality visual content for social media platforms. Ensure all content adheres to individual school brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
- Collaboration with Schools: Work closely with each school to align social media efforts with upcoming events, activities, and initiatives. Coordinate with school teams to ensure timely planning and execution of content to achieve maximum impact.
- Lead Generation Support: Collaborate with school admission teams to identify and nurture leads generated through social media channels. Share relevant leads and queries with the admission teams to facilitate enrolment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare weekly reports tracking key social media metrics such as reach, engagement, posts, and followers for each school. Conduct detailed monthly analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and benchmark against competitors.
- School Visits and Relationship Building: Conduct regular visits to each school to foster relationships with various teams, gather content opportunities, and stay updated on school activities and events.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the education sector or an agency
- Proven experience in social media management, with a portfolio that demonstrates an ability to engage and grow online communities.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics, with a strategic mindset towards content scheduling and engagement.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a knack for capturing the essence of a school’s community and educational philosophy in digital content.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights. • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple school accounts and campaigns effectively.
- Flexibility to travel within the UAE for school visits as required.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car for transportation to the different schools in the UAE.
