Within the People Department at Agoda, the Tech Sourcing team has the rewarding responsibility of implementing best practices to attract top-notch talent to Agoda. We collaborate with Tech stakeholders to ensure the successful recruitment of A-player talent from diverse backgrounds. The Tech Sourcing team thrives on collaboration across multiple Technology departments within the company. We are data-driven and prioritize experimentation to identify top talent globally. The Opportunity:
In this role you will contribute to Agoda’s success by developing and implementing different sourcing strategies to identify high-quality, and diverse candidates. You will concentrate on finding A players and attract passive candidates for positions across the whole Technology department locally & globally and partnership to the Tech Stakeholders and recruiters.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
- Identify and implement sourcing strategies tailored to specific job positions through creative research and diverse resource utilization.
- Develop and maintain a diverse pipeline of prospective candidates using platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and various other tools.
- Possess strong expertise in utilizing talent insights and analysis to recruit top talent across various regions. Adept at leveraging data to educate and guide hiring managers.
- Demonstrated ability to explore and experiment with various approaches to bring in diverse talent.
- Experienced in sourcing for technical positions, including both evergreen and niche roles such as Frontend Engineer, Full Stack Engineer, Backend Engineer, Engineering Manager, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning specialists. Proficient in sourcing candidates with expertise in technologies such as Scala, Java, .NET Core, React.js, and Spark.
- Use data in all you do – an excellent storyteller who can inform on market insights to help shape and drive sourcing strategy.
- Partner closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to develop targeted sourcing plans to support our hiring initiatives under tight deadlines.
- Update the stakeholders on current market trends by educating them on relevant industries, companies, and talent pools/profiles.
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth and success of the company.
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
- at least 6 years of corporate (in-house) and/or search firm technical end to end recruiting experience.
- Hands-on experience in recruiting diverse talent across various regions, with a particular focus on the Asia, EU and LATAM markets
- Experience partnering with senior leadership, hiring managers and all stakeholders of Tech to drive deliverables for the recruitment team.
- Experience recruiting/sourcing for technical talents for Back End Engineers, Full Stack Engineers or other related roles.
- ATS experience with sourcing, monitoring, and managing candidates.
- Boolean search expertise, job board sourcing, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and other sourcing tools
- Ability to create competitive and demographic analyses for use in recruiting functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree is required, or at least 5 years of experience working in recruitment.

- Experience in a Product, E-commerce, OTA, or internet company
