Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives

Perform the installation, preventive maintenance, repair, TSB upgrade and customer training on sites. Record the procedure of troubleshooting, PM and other Activities on sites and follow up the customer complaints by regulation & Rule in Abbott. Management of Parts Usage & create the Revenue for the sustainable and profitable growth

Major Responsibilities

1. Perform installation of Abbott instrument within arrangement date of customer successfully

2. Perform Preventive Maintenance to reduce the costs and get the better reliability

3. Perform troubleshooting and repair for Abbott Instruments for the good reliability

4. TSB Upgrade within a due date for the better performance

5. Prepare instruments as operational status for using internal or external customer training, exhibition or demonstration purpose

6. Keep the instruments as updated status and perform scheduled or needed maintenance procedures. Record data and keep them on the logs

7. Keep test tools or equipment as clean and operational status, and if needed, check the calibration due date not to expired

8. Keep operating and working area clean and orderly

9. Maintain good housekeeping of the Training Center and work safely as per the EHS procedures

10. Perform other activities assigned and/or instructed by direct supervisor

11. Keep the Test of Record within a Plan date

12. Effectively keep the rule with support occupational Environment, Health, and Safety Program, for keeping employee’s safety and health from hazardous material

13. Follow up & record the customer complaints by Abbott policy

14. Perform a call management by TSO in Office and then dispatch call to the TSS/TAS

15. Provide backup first line service to Abbott Ambassadors (Service interventions requiring less than 4 hours labor time)

16. Schedule and perform planned maintenance activities

17. Success in this role is measured by service key performance indications level achievement, customer satisfaction score (NPS) and economical profitability and growth per district

Educations

  • Degreed graduate in 4 years college or university course in Electrical, Electronics, Biochemical, medical-Engineering or related science.
  • More than two year job related experience is preferred

Background

  • Knowledge and experience of the repairing instrument activity is desirable
  • More than two years experience at field service engineering or technical marketing area in multinational company
  • Previous experience should demonstrate the ability to understand the instrument operation and to fix the instrument
  • Basic knowledge of the diagnostic products
  • Basic knowledge of the electrical and/or electronics is desirable
  • Considerable manipulative skill with fingers and tools is necessary
