Chemonics

Chemonics seeks a Coordinator for the external (remote) independent review and verification/validation of progress made on the milestones as laid out in the KEMSA Reforms Implementation Letter No. [HPN-KEMSA-2] (IL) to the Development Cooperation Framework Agreement through the achievement of the activities therein. The findings from the third-party verification are expected to further inform the conditional planned gradual/phased USAID return to KEMSA. This position will be based remotely. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overall coordination of the third-party verification exercise
  • Act as the liaison between the team and the parties involved
  • Responsible for quality control to ensure all deliverables meet the required specifications and standards
  • Liaising with the Team Leader in managing deadlines and progress to ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Health Systems Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with proven national/international experience in project management, organizational development, leadership, and governance
  • Ability to clearly communicate, expressing requirements and expectations to a wide range of individuals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and negotiate with tact and diplomacy
  • Proven experience in leadership/leading teams
  • Proven experience in coordination of stakeholders from diverse fields
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
