The Senior Project Manager is responsible for Programme Assurance of a portfolio of Greenfield builds delivering c120k premises pa / £60m capex spend.

You’ll develop a team of Project Managers and be responsible for assuring delivery of the overall portfolio. This is directly linked to the VMO2 growth agenda, covering HSEQ, programme, quality, cost construction & commissioning.

The must haves:

• External qualification in Project/Programme Management (e.g., Prince / APM/ MSP Practitioner or equivalent)
• Proven experience delivering large infrastructure programmes (preferably telco but not essential) under robust programme management framework
• Demonstrable examples of implementation of programme controls and conducting project assurance
• Examples of management of programme finances and capex budgets
• Bold decision maker, with exceptional partner management skills and confidence dealing with and innovating through ambiguity

Other stuff we’re looking for:

• Strong understanding of implementing and maintaining a consistent project management methodology, ensuring project conforms to appropriate framework & governance, including implementation and embedding of robust programme controls
• Experience monitoring and driving the programme / projects against breakthroughs and targets and provides status updates to partners
